The Member-get-a-Member campaign is a key strategy inside the Moving Fort Collins Forward campaign to generate new members to the Fort Collins Area Chamber of Commerce.

From now until November 17, 2011 we have a goal to recruit 100 new members.

We are asking our current members to introduce our organization to their peers in an effort to have them join as new members in exchange for recognition and prizes including a chance to win a free trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

Moving Fort Collins Forward is a volunteer-led campaign to secure all resources necessary to run the Chamber and accomplish important priorities in the community for the next year.

What's in it for you?

 With each successful referral* you are given one ticket to be included in a drawing for a free trip to Cabo San Lucas, one free event pass to a chamber function**,  recognition on our webpage, and after your fourth successful referral* cash prizes will be awarded.

 

Prizes for members who recruit 1-4 new members...

  • One drawing ticket to be entered to win a drawing for a free trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, per new member.
  • One free event pass, per new member.
  • Recognition on our Web site and Smartbrief Newsletter, per new member.

  Prizes for members who recruit 5+ new members...

  • All of the above PLUS $50 Cash or $50 off your Chamber Membership, per new member.     

*Volunteer Rewards are based on successful referrals in which a referral results in a new membership.
**Event Passes are valid for Business After/Before Hours Events
To be eligible for prizes, all new memberships must be paid for and received between September 7 and November 17, 2011 

There are two ways to get started...

  • Reference our toolkit below to gather information about the chamber.
  • Intoduce your peers to the Chamber via email, phone, or in person and ask if they are interested in joining.
  • If yes, send them the join now link and have them include your name in the 'sponsor' field to secure referral credit.
  • We will notify you of all new members who joined by your referral and present prize based on the reward structure above.



  • Reference our toolkit below to gather information about the Chamber to share with your peers.
  • Introduce your peers to the Chamber with information gathered from toolkit via email, phone, or in person and ask if they are interested in joining.
  • If yes, email janderson@fcchamber.org and include the contact information of your referral and we will follow up per your request.
  • We will notify you of all new members who joined by your referral and present prizes based on the reward structure above.
