Brinkman Construction, of Fort Collins, Colorado, has completed renovations on an existing building that will now be home to ITT Technical Institute's newest location. The 26,914 SF, three-story space is part of Westminster's Sheridan Park 7. It is located on the east side of Highway 36, south of 88th Avenue at 8620 Wolff Court.
The extensive interior improvements and exterior refacing have completely transformed the building to create a more modern look. Brinkman partnered with PBV Architects and Newmark Knight Frank Frederick Ross on this development of Woodbury Corporation.
The interior space has been completely dismantled and rebuilt to include new mechanical and electrical systems, all new floor and bathroom finishes and the addition of an administration office and classrooms. Exterior renovations consisted installing new windows and removing the sloped exterior glazing and siding elements. These were replaced with new vertical wall framing with stucco and brick finish. The building has been restructured from a pyramid form to a box-shaped building.
Even with the many intricacies of the project, it was completed almost a month ahead of schedule.
To celebrate their new space, ITT is hosting a ribbon cutting and open house Thursday, September 1, from 4:00-6:00 P.M.
