Realities For Children's Bikes for Tykes program that provides refurbished bikes and new helmets to abused and at-risk children inLarimerCountyis in need of your help!
With less than a week from the December 10th deadline for donating bikes, there are many more children in need of bikes than have been donated so far.
Bikes For Tykes is an opportunity for community members to donate their used and new bicycles to local youth by dropping them off at our supporting bicycle shops, where they will be refurbished and safety-checked to ensure safe riding for the recipients. These bikes should be in reasonable working condition and suitable for children ages 3-17.
Realities For Children will then disperse the donated bicycles, along with new helmets, to over 400 local abused and at-risk children.
