Chamber Hosts Future of Jobs Event on August 9

The Fort Collins Area Chamber of Commerce recently announced the speakers for the 2012 Future of Jobs event.

A new event for the chamber, the summit will begin at 7:!5 a.m. at the Drake Centre, 802 West Drake on Thursday, August 9. The event will provide members of the business community with the opportunity to learn about primary employment trends in Larimer County, the City's Economic Health Plan, trends in site selection and innovation and commercialization in Fort Collins.

Speakers include Regional Economist Dr. Martin Shields, Fort Collins Area Chamber President & CEO David May, City of Fort Collins Economic Health Director Josh Birks, City of Fort Collins Sustainability Officer Bruce Hendee, Northern Colorado Economic Development Corporation CEO Walt Elish, Rocky Mountain Innosphere CEO Mike Freeman and CSU Ventures Vice President Tim Reeser.
