Otis, Coan & Peters, LLC is pleased to welcome attorney Peter B. Scott to the OCP team.

Mr. Scott comes to OCP with over 39 years of experience advising individuals, families and business owners on tax law matters with a focus on estate, business and tax planning. He is a nationally known speaker, author, and educator.  Mr. Scott has taught classes and courses at Metropolitan State University, Front Range Community College, the Estate and Wealth Strategies Institute at Michigan State University, the Academy of Multidisciplinary Practice in Sarasota, Florida, the Business Enterprise Institute, the American Society of Women Accountants, the National Business Institute and others. 

Mr. Scott received his law degree from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, Missouri where he also received his Master of Laws in Taxation. He is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, WealthCounsel, and the National Network of Estate Planning Attorneys, the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, the Northern Colorado Estate Planning Council, and the Financial Planning Association.
