NFL flag is the premier youth flag football league for boys and girls ages 5-17. Launched in 1996, the NFL flag football program is designed to educate young people about football while emphasizing participation and sportsmanship. The most exciting part for players and fans is that NFL flag gives youngsters the chance to be an official NFL player and matchup against other NFL teams!
NFL flag is non-contact, 5 on 5 flag football for players of all skill levels. There are no tryouts and team size is strictly limited so that all players can get a chance to participate. The league has fall and spring seasons and plays games on Sunday afternoons and Monday nights. Divisions are co-ed, K-1st, 2nd-3rd, 4th-5th, 6th-8th & High School. Teams are arranged by City and local schools & neighborhoods to make practices convenient for players and parents. The minimum 8 game season concludes with a playoff tournament and Superbowl pizza party! Superbowl winners receive trophies, runners-up receive medals and all players receive an official NFL flag participation certificate from NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.
The deadline for registration for the upcoming spring season is March 15th and the season begins on April 8th.
