Chamber Announces 2012 Mission to the Capitol - February 9

The Northern Colorado Legislative Alliance, the joint public policy advocacy arm of the Fort Collins, Greeley and Loveland Chambers of Commerce and the Northern Colorado Economic Development Corporation, announces that the 2012 Missiont o the Capitol, an annual event, will be held on Thursday, February 9 in collaboration with Leadership Fort Collins, Leadership Weld County, and Leadership Loveland. 

Attendees will travel toDenverwhere they will engageColorado”™s political leadership in discussions about critical issues facing our region.  Participants will meet with regional legislators and policy makers on issues important to business success and watch the legislative process in action.   Guests of NCLA will have opportunities to participate in exclusive breakout sessions with legislators throughout the day. 

The group will depart from Embassy Suites conveniently located off I-25 andCrossroads Boulevard at 6:15 am.  The program will include an opportunity to observe House activities and presentations from legislators and policy makers.  Attendees will enjoy lunch withNorthern Colorado legislators.  The afternoon schedule continues with conversations and presentations from state leadership in addition to a tour of the Capitol building. 

Members of theFort Collins, Loveland and Greeley Chambers of Commerce and the Northern Colorado Economic Development Corporation, as well as the general public, are encouraged to register online at NCLAonline.net.  The cost to attend is $50 per participant.  Registration includes lunch and transportation.  Limited space available.
