The firm Public Policy Polling just released survey results of Americans’ perceptions of the 50 states. The top five most popular states are:

#1       Hawaii

#2        Colorado

#3       Tennessee

#4       South Dakota

#5       Virginia

How about that?! Colorado is near the top of the list. (We might be #2, but at least you can drive here.)

The least popular states?

#46    Utah

#47    Mississippi

#48    New Jersey

#49    Illinois

And, the least popular state in the nation is…California.
